The Mutt Deep has a body length of 90 mm is handcrafted from timber.
This new Mutt 90mm is designed to be used as a jerk bait. It is designed for neutral buoyancy but because they are made from timber each lure has it's own DNA and therefore may vary slightly.
A jerk bait is a longish lure made to represent an injured bait fish. In jerk bait fishing action is created by the angler; this is done by jerking your rod as you reel the lure in. Having said that this lure can be used successfully as a cast and retrieve lure too.
The Mutt 90mm Deeps cast like bullets due to their body shape and being weighted with the moulded belly weight allowing an easy long cast past your target.
Some strikes are quite violent, so hang on to your rod and don't be like Brian!
