As a special treat Jordynn has written about her family fishing experience and the Murray Cod that won her first prize. Congratulations once again. Here is Jordynn's story in her own words....
It was a typical fishing family trip to a station near near Menindee, where I caught my first cod. All weekend I spent on the river bank waiting to catch something, I even fell asleep on the bank. My brother, dad, nan and grandad were all catching fish and I had caught nothing... until the last day. I was so determined to catch something that I woke up early and went with dad down to the river bank at 6:30 in the morning. I waited patiently for my time to shine; then I caught my first cod and first fish of the weekend. 97cm cod made me one happy girl. I'm glad to say it was one of my favourite experiences of my life and I'm glad I could share it with my dad and grandad.
